The complex is the former Pamučna industrija Duga Resa, founded in 1884 on the bank of the Mrežnica. From the start, one of Croatia's first hydroelectric plants drove the spinning machines. The town grew up around this factory.
The complex generates its own power from two renewable sources: hydropower from the adjoining Mrežnica and photovoltaics on the large roof areas. Together they form a largely closed energy loop, year-round supply and a strong ESG profile for tenants with green reporting.
